Jeremiah 1 1 This is the message that the prophet Jeremiah gave to Baruch, son of Neriah, when he wrote in a book the prophecies that Jeremiah dictated in the fourth year of Jehoiakim, son of Josiah, king of Judah: 以下是耶肋米亚先知对乃黎雅的儿子巴路克说的话：他在犹大王约史雅的儿子约雅金第四年，由耶肋米亚口授，在卷册上记录了这些话： 2 Thus says the LORD, God of Israel, to you, Baruch, ＂上主，以色列的天主论及你，巴路克，这样说： 3 because you said, ＂Alas! the LORD adds grief to my pain; I am weary from groaning, and can find no rest＂: 你曾说：我多么可怜！因为上主在我的愁苦上还加添痛苦；我呻吟憔悴，得不到安宁！ 4 say this to him, says the LORD: What I have built, I am tearing down; what I have planted, I am uprooting: even the whole land. 你应这样对他说：上主这样说：看！我拆毁的，是我所建造的；我拔除的，是我所栽培的；我要打击全地， 5 And do you seek great things for yourself?
